Xiaoyu Lang, doctoral degree. From 2011 to 2015, he pursued undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering and Automation at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). From 2015 to 2017, he pursued a master's degree in the Power Electronics and Electric Drives (PEED) Research Group at Harbin Institute of Technology, focusing on the research of high-performance current control for permanent magnet synchronous servo motors, and was awarded the Gold Award for "Outstanding Master's Graduate". In 2017, funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and the European Union's Clean Sky program, he went to the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom to carry out research on the more-electric aircraft starter-generator system, and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2021.

He have published a total of 27 academic papers, among which 8 papers were published as the first author and sole corresponding author in top journals in the field of electrical and electronic engineering such as IEEE Transactions, with an h-index of 13 and a total of more than 600 citations. He was awarded the 2022 Best Paper Prize of IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification (Top 4/394) and the Best Presentation Award at IECON - 2016 (IEEE Industrial Electronics Society Annual Conference). He have published one international monograph with IEEE & Wiley and obtained 2 authorized invention patents.
