Biography

Wang Bo, male, professor, PhD supervisor, IEEE Senior Member. He has been engaged in the research of high-performance motor drive systems over decades, and his research interests include high-performance permanent magnet motors, fault-tolerant motor drive systems, high-speed starting/power generation systems, and magnetic levitation motor drive systems. He has presided over important projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Youth Fund, published more than 40 SCI/EI journal conference papers, and was selected as the "Zhishan Young Scholar" A-level support program of Southeast University, "Xiaomi Young Scholar", "Xiangjiang Scholar", and "Doctor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship" in Jiangsu Province. He won the Nanrui Award, the outstanding class teacher of Southeast University, and was selected as one of the top 2% of scientists in the world at Stanford. After graduating with a doctorate, he won the National Outstanding Self-financed International Student Scholarship, and won the special prize in the National College Students' Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition of the Challenge Cup and the President of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Commendation. He has served as an editorial board member of several authoritative journals, and has long served as a reviewer of authoritative journals such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification, ECCE, IEDMC and  ICEMS. He has served as a chairperson of the ICEMS 2019, CIEEC 2021 and CIEEC 2022 session. As a key scientific researcher, he is responsible for a series of important topics such as major projects and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, national key research programs and young scientists.
