Biography:
Kangli Liu received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and automation from China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China, in 2011, the M.S. and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2014 and 2017, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University, where he previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. From 2021 to 2023, supported by the international exchange fellowship program, he worked with the Chair of Electrical Drive Systems and Power Electronics, and Chair of High-Power Converter Systems, Technical University of Munich (TUM), Munich, Germany. Dr. Liu has authored over 80 peer-reviewed technicalpapers and holds 25 patents. His current research interests include renewable energy integration analysis, fault mechanisms and protection, electromagnetic transient simulation. He is a member of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society Technical Committee on Standards and Smart Grids.
