Biography

ZHAO Xin was born in Chizhou, Anhui Province. He has been a Lecturer with the School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University, since 2014. He is a member of IEEE and Deputy Secretary-General of the IEEE PES Power Grid Stability and Control Technology Subcommittee. He has hosted 1 project funded by the Jiangsu Province Natural Science Foundation and 1 project funded by State Grid Corporation of China, as well as more than 10 horizontal projects sponsored by organizations such as China Electric Power Research Institute, State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Company, Jiangsu Electric Power Test and Research Institute, State Grid Shanghai Electric Power Company, and Guangdong Electric Power Grid Co., Ltd. He has also participated as a core member in 3 national key R&D program projects, 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 National Science and Technology Support Program project, 1 key project under Jiangsu Province’s Science and Technology Plan, and numerous enterprise-commissioned horizontal projects. He was awarded the third prize of Jiangsu Province Electric Engineering Science and Technology Award.
