Call for Papers (Pre Notice)

April 24-26, 2026, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province

I. Introduction to SPEED

The Symposium on Power Electronics & Electrical Drives (SPEED) of Chinese Universities was held on August 8, 2005 at Beijing Jiaotong University as a preparatory meeting. The preparatory meeting was initiated by Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Beijing Jiaotong University, and received responses from six universities including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Chongqing University, South China University of Technology, and Wuhan University. The preparatory meeting adopted the annual meeting charter, which stipulates that the annual meeting will be held once a year. The goal is to develop the annual conference into an important academic forum for power electronics and power transmission disciplines in Chinese universities. The characteristic of the annual meeting is to provide a detailed introduction to the current development status and trends of the discipline in each university, promoting the understanding and comprehension of the discipline in each university. The conference includes invited presentations, paper exchanges, and discussions on cutting-edge issues in the long-term development of power electronics and power transmission disciplines. It has attracted the active participation of renowned experts and scholars in the industry, as well as university teachers and students, and has become one of the most important academic forums for power electronics and power transmission disciplines in Chinese universities. As of now, the conference organizing committee has grown to 19 well-known domestic universities, with 9 new universities added including Hunan University, China University of Mining and Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Southwest Jiaotong University, North China Electric Power University, Xi'an University of Technology, Hefei University of Technology, Northeast Electric Power University, and Southeast University.

The 19th Symposium on Power Electronics & Electrical Drives (SPEED 2026) will be hosted by Southeast University.


II. Conference Topics

The theme of this conference is "Power Electronics Empowering Energy Transformation and Transportation Transformation", which will explore new theories, technologies, and achievements in power electronics technology, as well as related fields, showcasing the development level and future direction of power electronics and power transmission technology. The main contents involved include but are not limited to:

1) Topology, modeling, and control of power electronic converters

2) Semiconductor power devices and magnetic components

3) Power supplies and applications for data centers, consumer electronics, power ICs, etc

4) Wireless power transmission and micro energy acquisition technology

5) Electromagnetic compatibility and reliability technology of power electronics

6) Energy storage equipment and control technology

7) Modeling, stability analysis, and control of power electronic power systems

8) Power electronics technology in flexible AC/DC transmission and distribution systems

9) New energy generation equipment and control

10) Power electronics technology in electric transportation

11) Artificial intelligence and power electronics

12) Power electronics technology in "Electricity-X"

13) Power electronics technology in other applications

14) Research on teaching and discipline construction of power electronics


III. Paper Submission

  1. Submitted papers must be original work that has not been published previously elsewhere.

  2. Please prepare your manuscript according to the formatting template of the “Proceedings of the CSEE” (Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering).

IV. Important Dates
