Biography
Li Xin received his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2012 and 2018, respectively. From 2019 to 2020, he worked as a Technical Research Engineer at Company, engaged in R&D related to advanced power electronics technologies. From 2020 to 2022, he conducted postdoctoral research at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In August 2022, he joined the School of Electrical Engineering at Southeast University as an Associate Research Fellow and Doctoral Supervisor. He was supported by the 2024 Jiangsu Provincial Youth Science and Technology Talent Support Program and selected as a Southeast University Zhishan Youth Scholar (Level A) in 2024. He serves as a committee member of the Academic Committee and Youth Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Power Supply Society, a technical committee member of the 4th International Conference on Power Engineering (ICPE 2023), and an IEEE member. He has chaired session meetings at the 2023 China Power Supply Society Annual Conference and the IEEE PEAS Conference, and served as a Guest Editor for the SCI-indexed journals Fractal and Fractional (JCR Q1) and Electronics (JCR Q3). He has led one sub-project of a National Key R&D Program, one sub-project of a National Key Research and Development Plan, one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project, one Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, two State Grid headquarters projects, two projects from the State Grid Electric Power Research Institute, and one project from the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Smart Grid. He has participated in several projects including a Singapore-Norway joint project, projects from Jiangsu Electric Power Research Institute, and major projects of the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Smart Grid. He has received three Best Paper or Best Presentation Awards at international and domestic conferences. He has published over 30 papers, including 11 first-author or corresponding-author papers in international journals, all in SCI Q1. He holds 9 patents in China and Singapore. Under his supervision, undergraduate and graduate students have won the First Prize in the Final of the "Infineon GaN" Cup 10th University Power Electronics Application Design Competition (organized by the China Power Supply Society) and the Third Prize in the Jiangsu Division of the 3rd University Electrical and Electronic Engineering Innovation Competition (organized by the China Electrotechnical Society). He has also guided students in completing one major university-level SRTP project.
