The objective of the course is to provide further knowledge about the structure and operation principles of the power converting circuits, the components of power electronics devices, calculation methods of basic electric quantities, and the technological problems to solve. By introducing several kinds of power electronics devices, students could master its operating principles, operating features, and control methods based on the characteristics of actual load, therefore improving their ability to integrate knowledge, and work out practical problems.
