Environmental-friendly development has become the mainstream of the development of human society. Given the fact that electricity is the main power source of the world, it is of significance in improving its efficiency. The course focuses on energy transforming and energy-saving technology, making it an important fundamental course of Electrical Engineering. The course teaches basic knowledge of power electronics analysis and design, including controllable rectification, power electronics devices and its parameters, active inversion technology, triggering circuit, AC voltage regulation, and so forth. Through this course, students could learn and master the basic theory and methods of analysis and design of power electronics devices and circuits, thus laying a foundation for further study.
