Biography:
Dr. Mei Jun, associate professor of Southeast University, is well known as the winner of the second and third prize of Science and Technology Progress of Jiangsu Province, China. He is mainly engaged in the field of electrical engineering, especially in the theory and application of topology and its control of power electronic converter, renewable energy access and basic theory and application research of power quality control. In recent years, more than 60 academic papers written by him are published successively in domestic and foreign journals or international conference such as the IEEE Journal, China Electrical Engineering Journal, Transactions of China Electro-technical Society and Automation of Electric Power Systems, more than 10 articles among which are in SCI search, and more than 40 articles are in EI search. Nearly 30 applications for the invention of the patent have been applied by him, while 14 of them have already been authorized. Many science and technology projects are presided over and completed by Dr. Mei and his R&D team including projects of the national high technology research and development plan (863 plan), the Jiangsu provincial ‘Industry, University and Research Institute Joint Research’ plan and other national or provincial projects.
