Biography

 Jiang ping is doctor of engineering, professor, doctoral supervisor, senior member of CSEE, automation and computer committee member of JSEE. He specializes in electric power system and its automation for years. His researches focus on power system operation and control, applications of power electronic technology in electric power system, grid connected operation and control of new energy power generation. He hosted the course “Power System Analysis” in 2010 and the course was entitled as excellent course of Jiangsu Province. He has written 1 national planning materials and awarded first prize in excellent teaching work of SEU twice. He has hosted and completed 1 project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project supported by National Key Technology Support Program, 1 project supported by Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province and more than 50 research projects granted from SGCC. He published or preprinted more than 120 academic papers in the domestic and international important journals, more than 60 of which were cited by SCI and EI. He has applied 16 invention patents of China and 5 of them have been authorized. He has won 6 science and technology progress awards of Jiangsu electric power company.
