Biography:
Lucheng Hong was born in Nantong, China, in 1985. He received the B.S. degree from the School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2007, the PH.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2013, all in electrical engineering. He also worked in Cambridge University UK in 2012 as a visiting scholar. He is now a lecturer of the School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. His research interests include modeling and control of the flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS), and improving the stability and power quality of the power system using FACTS devices.
