Dr. Tan was born in Fuyang, Anhui Province, in Oct. 1986. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Harbin Engineering University, Heilongjiang Province, China, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Southeast University, Jiangsu Province, China, in 2014. He is now as a lecturer in the School of Electrical Engineering in Southeast University. His interests include wireless power transfer, wireless charging/discharging for EVs and power electronics converter. He has hosted or participated in over 10 scientific and technological projects including innovative projects for graduates of Jiangsu Province, national nature science foundation of China, nature science foundation of Jiangsu Province and “863 Project”. Dr. Tan has published more than over 30 papers in international academic journals and conferences and applied more than 40 patents, 8 of that have been authorized. He was rewarded for the third prize of progress in science and technology by China Electro-technical Society in 2013. And he also acts as the reviewer for Automation of Electric Power System.
