Biography

Liu Pengcheng, Ph.D., obtained his bachelor's and doctoral degrees from Southeast University in 2016 and 2022, respectively, under the supervision of Professor Wang Zheng. During his PhD studies, he was funded by the China Scholarship Council to pursue joint training at the University of Alberta in Canada, where his co-supervisor was Professor Ryan (Yunwei) Li. He has led one youth project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and participated in three general projects and three enterprise projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China in the past five years. As the first author, he has published more than ten SCI/EI indexed papers, including five IEEE Trans. papers in the first quartile of SCI, and has been granted four Chinese invention patents as the first author or as a co-first author with his supervisor. He serves as a reviewer for several international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification, and ICEMS.
