On the afternoon of October 31, 2025, the scholarship and teaching award donation signing ceremony, sponsored by Siyuan Electric Co., Ltd., was successfully held in the 318 Conference Room of the School. Representatives from Siyuan Electric Co., Ltd., including Assistant General Manager and General Manager of the Secondary Business Group Zhang Shaobo; Alumni, Vice Dean of the Central Research Institute and Chief Engineer Wang Kai; Alumni, Chief Engineer of the New Power System Wu Xiaodan; and Director of the Human Resources Center Ben Peili, attended the ceremony. Also present were Director of the Alumni Services and Fund Affairs Office & Secretary-General of the Education Foundation Rui Zhenhua, Deputy Secretary-General of the Education Foundation Song Yanyan, Secretary of the Party Committee Gu Wei, Vice Dean Xu Qingshan, Assistant Dean Wang Wei, Assistant Dean Wu Xi, and Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Zhang Yaqian. The ceremony was hosted by Wang Wei, Assistant Dean of the College.
In the opening speech, Gu Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee, first extended a warm welcome and introduced the school's situation. He also expressed gratitude to Siyuan Electric Co., Ltd. for their care and support of the students of the School of Electrical Engineering at Southeast University, and hoped to strengthen cooperation in areas such as scientific research and talent cultivation.
Next, Zhang Shaobo, Assistant General Manager and General Manager of the Secondary Business Group of Siyuan Electric Co., Ltd., stated that as one of the world’s leading electrical solution and service companies, Siyuan is always focused on solving practical problems, empowering business value, contributing to society, and improving people's lives. He hoped that this signing ceremony would serve as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation between the two sides, particularly based on Siyuan Electric's Nanjing R&D Center.
After a brief exchange, Zhang Shaobo, Assistant General Manager and General Manager of the Secondary Business Group of Siyuan Electric Co., Ltd., signed the cooperation agreement with Rui Zhenhua, Secretary-General of the Education Foundation of Southeast University. General Manager Zhang then presented the donation plaque to Secretary-General Rui. In return, Secretary-General Rui presented a donation certificate to General Manager Zhang.
Finally, Vice Dean of the College Xu Qingshan and the Chief Engineer of the New Power System at Siyuan Electric Co., Ltd. Wu Xiaodan co-hosted the technical exchange between the two parties.
